I've long thought his videos seemed highly plagiaristic. Not only that, a lot of his suggestions/claims are just nonsense, or based on old debunked information. He passes it off like he has insider info, when clearly he's just cobbling together ideas from others videos/articles and rehashing it, even if the community already knows the information to be false/misleading. I told YouTube to stop showing me his channel about a year ago.
His "New Cars Coming!!" all have a literal 0% success rate, including the ones for the next update. It's kind of hilarious.

Too bad that guy has been shamelessly copying my videos for almost a year, the last video about the cut championships wrongly says they are coming when to date they are just unconfirmed remnants I talked about it at length in my last video...

He started with a video about the now old cut car list and from there he enjoys taking information from among my Live and videos and then shamelessly passing it off in English

Volt is just a gullible person who thinks that everything related to GT is true, he is the worst of this community regarding leaks and anticipations which is shown to be obtuse and desperate
We are better than that but apparently we at GT like to beat ourselves up....

For those who think I am just a Hater you can safely compare video releases with my publications, you then do the sums, the fact is that Voltz is NOT a competent figure but only fanatical about this corner of GT
Honestly, I believe you should try to upload some of your videos in English, unfortunately our beautiful language is not so known and this limits the possible reach of your content.

On the other hand, every time I base myself upon your videos when posting in the prediction threads (with a sky high 0.0% rate of prediction accuracy up to now), I always quote you as my reference.

Here goes a funny story on my livery creation journey I’d like to share with you guys. Back when GT7 was only about a week old, I made up a fictional Minolta livery for the JGTC Supra, trying to imagine how a “Minolta TOM’S Supra” would turn out to be if it existed back then.

IMG_1328.jpeg

As you can see, it has a pretty straightforward design and color scheme that fits the era, that was my idea. If you know a little bit more about JGTC you’ll certainly spot something familiar: I took heavy inspiration from the Denso SARD livery, also from 1997, basically just changing the colors and adapting the sponsor decals.

Alright, so everything seemed pretty normal until I found out many people were replicating my fictional Minolta Supra. This had me laughing for a few minutes because I have the impression they’re unaware it’s not a real livery.

IMG_1330.png

Some even replicated it with my personal number (#57), adding to my theory that people didn’t realize it never existed. I counted a total of 10 players that came up with the exact design, surely not a coincidence at this point.

So, if any of these 10 players are reading this, thank you for paying tribute to my livery, I had a blast making this! (Even though you probably had no idea it was fictional and a creation of mine. 🤣)

Here’s the link to the original livery I created on March 10, 2022.

Viewership wasn't at super alarming numbers last I checked, at least not as bad as some delusional people would have you believe according to just them and their Friends (who they think somehow make up a significant portion to make a difference when they likely don't) so there isn't a reason to be desperate.

Regardless, this is very interesting.

Funny.

That's one clean looking car! Nice work :)

It's very possible they know about it, and will fix it, but don't see it as enough of an issue to list separately. We see this in every set of patch notes with the "Various other issues have been addressed", which consistently range from extremely minor to game-defining.
I'd assume that since they made the majority of wheels non-selectable now that they are aware of it. Otherwise we'd still be able to apply glitched wheels.
I just REALLY hope that removing them isn't a deliberate gameplay choice, and is only a temporary thing while they are being fixed.

I would honestly expect 6-8 months of silence before I would plan on hearing about GT8...
I think that's the one timeframe I don't expect it to be. To me, if you have an unannounced big game in the pipeline, you either announce it basically now for an early 2026 launch, or you wait until 2027 to announce it.

I just don't think AAA developers (of any kind, not just Sony) are going to risk their nine figure budget games getting snowed under by the GTA VI blizzard.

Some games - especially those with similar target audiences - will try to get out of the way by a few weeks or so, but the entire industry will certainly not clear the entire year for GTA IV.

Because of all the earlier controversy around PD & GT5-6-7 etc, they could do worse than announcing it 6 months before release. That in GT7 they had too few cars the first few months was a minor issue. There were other factors why the game was hated the first few weeks. And still GT7 has grand potential for improvement. Because of the three 7's advertising from PD of GT7, perhaps GT8 would be an 888 in 2028? Kaz promises 888 cars by the end of service for GT8.
And we the players will be angry & lamenting because it's gonna cost 888 million credits to buy all the cars in the game!

I wouldn't call myself a believer but I think the reveal of the next one could be beneficial for them.
We are approaching the window of the reveal anyway, so if they actually did announce GT8, expectations (like tracks) for GT7 updates would drop significantly, which would be healthy for them and also for the fanbase.

Fully agree

I'm only expecting GT8 to be revealed when a whole dedicated forum section mysteriously appears here in GTPlanet two weeks in advance.
Oh boy, do I remember the absolute scenes when that happened for GT Sport when it was announced during Paris Games Week 2015. First, pictures of Kaz being at the venue appeared, then suddenly a new sub forum pops up. 16-year old me was so hyped.

Edit: We see you, @Jordan 👀

Should not be too long until we at least get somekind of reveal for gt8.
Its pretty clear to me that pd is not putting their full focus on gt7 looking at the recent updates. And they really dosent bring anything major to the table.

I think it would better to see something about gt8 now even if it would be 2 years away. And the reason they might not have done it yet, might also be because they dont want to slow down sales for gt7.

We just had a State of Play livestream 2 days ago that didn't feature anything Gran Turismo. One would think if GT8 was being announced at all it would be in one of those, just like GT7 was.
I doubt there will be anything first-party from PlayStation during the Summer Games Festival livestream later today with the State of Play having just happened.
Maybe there will be some GT7 news at the World Tour event, but highly unlikely for anything GT8.

If there is gt8 reveal its proably at the end of year at best. But i dont think pd wants to reveal gt8 as long as gt7 doing well. We are in that time line when a new gt game normally gets revealed

Not so sure about this - I wouldn't be shocked to see something from Santa Monica, whether it's the Cory Barlog game or the rumoured metroidvania. Naughty Dog and SSM are the two PlayStation studios with enough prestige for Sony to reveal their stuff at a general show. Maybe Insomniac as well now they've done so well lately.

100% an eventual GT reveal will be at an internal Sony show though, regardless of timing. Too niche of a genre, and Ghost of Yotei shows Sony are perfectly willing to put their "high tier, but not Naughty Dog tier" games on their internal shows.

Hmmm wondering what does this mean for the broadcast?Good?Bad?Neutral?
I would assume that the broadcast would be really good since it's being sponsored to the public. I'm sure it will be a wild World Series event since it's being held in London. Should be fun too for a lot of competitors that are looking for a hard challenge.

I found another custom wheel issue. This time with the AMG GT-R 2017. This one has the wide body but take note of the wheels. They are no longer deep dish. This is the car in my garage, but the thumbnail shows the original wheel.

Close up of garage car next to close up of thumbnail photo for the front and rear wheels.

It'll be interesting to see how long it will take for the Xiaomi SU7 to actually be added to the game, and how far along in the approximate 9 month development time cars take it is at the time of announcement.

If it was only first scanned when Kaz got to drive it, it shouldn't arrive until Spring next year, so I assume it must've been scanned significantly beforehand because you wouldn't announce it if it was so far off.
They didn't use it in a race, and no in-game model of the car was shown in reveal/trailer footage, so I'd take a guess at saying it's still a few months & updates away.
